Watt is the unit of power. Kw is the unit of energy. Energy is measured by how much fuel is contained in something. Power is defined as the rate at which this energy is used. The unit of power is KiloWatt and the unit of energy is KWh.
Energy (Kwh) = Power (KW) × Time (h)
The standard unit of electric power is KW (1000 watts). This 1000Watts (1KW) acting over period of 1 hour is 1Kilowatthour (1KWh)
So we can say that power is measured in watts.
1000watts = 1Kilowatt (KW)
1KW of power acting for 1 hour is 1Kilowatthour (1KWh)
