Solution

Let Dinesh has x marbles and Kabir has y marbles.
Now it is given that if Dinesh gives 1 marble to Kabir then both have equal number of marbles
Hence x - 1 = y+1
x-y = 2 ...........(1)
Also it is given that if Kabir gives 1 marble to Dinesh then Dinesh will have twice the marbles of Kabir
Hence 2(y-1) = x+1
2y-2=x+1
2y - x =3.........(2)
Adding (1) and (2) we get
x-y+2y-x = 5
y=5
Putting y=5 in (1) we get x=7
Hence Dinesh has 7 marbles and Kabir has 5 marbles
