Growing phenomenon of antibiotic resistance has been observed in bacteria against of which these antibiotics have been developed. Frequent and inappropriate use of antibiotics selects bacteria that can resist antibiotic treatment by the presence of antibiotic resistance gene. These resistant bacteria after being selected get advantage over others and continue their generations. These resistant bacteria require higher doses of medicine or stronger antibiotics to treat them.
