Solution

DNA is a type of nucleic acid which is present inside the nucleus of every cell. It contains several areas called genes which carry specific genetic information that are required for the development of the cell. DNA is made up of several base pairs which in turn transform into proteins by the process of transcription and translation. These proteins work together and express the traits or characters.
