do glucose and sugar are same? Our body accept starch (carbohydrates) in the form of glucose. But in mouth it is converted into sugar by the action of salivary amylase. So where this stach converted-sugar is converted into glucose and how?

Yes, both are same.Glucose is commonly called as sugar. They represent the form of carbohydrates.Starch is also converted to sugar a disaccharide called maltose by the enzyme called ptyalin .This also takes place in the mouth.This maltose further gets broken down to glucose by the action of the enzyme named maltase secreted by the intestinal juice.
