Question

do moon gets heated up by radiation from sun

Open in App
Solution

Since moon’s average surface temperature is not rising over the years thus moon cannot be said as being heated up.

Moon does not have an atmosphere thus it cannot retain solar heat and radiates back to the space and hence it is not heating up.
