Yes, the asteroids move from one place to another. The significantly populated Trojan asteroid are the Jupiter Trojans.. Now a couple of Trojans are also found orbiting with Mars.

The asteroid belt is the space between the orbits of mars and jupiter. In this area there are billions of heavenly objects which revolve around the sun, which are known as asteroids. Since they are very small, the asteroids can be thrown out of their orbit. They can then fall on mars or on earth.
