do you expect fully grown crop plants in a nursery? why? name 2 plants which are transplanted from a nursery.

Nursery is a place where plants are propagated and grown so that they can be planted in the field. Crop plants are transferred from nursery to field for proper growth. Usually nursery is a small place where large number of plantlets are present. Growth is usually retarded in such places because of competition for nutrients and space. So, crop plants can not be fully grown in a nursery.
Crops such as paddy are first grown in a nursery and then transplanted to the field. Many ornamental plants such orchids are initially grown in nursery and then transplanted to the desired place.
