Underemployment is not only prevalent in the agricultural sector but also in the service sector in urban areas in the form of casual labourers.Many of them like plumbers, electricians, painters, repair persons etc. are not working to their optimum capacity.Their earnings are less compared to a fully employed labourer which thereby lower their family income as well.
