Does green house effect leads to global warming? Explain.

The green house effect is a natural process by which some amount of heat of sun get absorbed by the lower atmosphere of the Earth. This heat is again emitted by the atmosphere when necessary. By absorbing and emitting heat, earth’s temperature gets regulated. The gases that absorb heat are known as Greenhouse gases. Due to the increase in greenhouse effect, the temperature of Earth increases with results in global warming.
