Does suspension shows Tyndall effect ?

Open in App
Solution

Answer is Yes. Suspensions do show Tyndall effect. The size of suspension particles is larger than the size of particles in true solutions. Thus, when a beam of light is passed through a suspension, the particles scatter light and the path of light gets illuminated.
