Question

Does the solubility of a substance change with temperature?

Open in App
Solution

The solubility increases with increasing temperature. The reason is that as the temperature increases the particles get more kinetic energy to collide with solvent molecules. As the no. of collision between solute and solvent increases , the rate of reaction increases and hence the solubility increases.
