Solution
Double fertilisation means fertilisation of one of the male gamete and female gamete to form a zygote and fertilisation of other male gamete and polar nuclei to form endosperm. This process occurs only in plants not in any other organism.
In this process five nuclei are involved which are two male gametes, two polar nuclei and one female gamete.
