Question

During electrolysis, when we take distilled water as the electrolyte, H and O ions are formed. They also possess charge so why can't they conduct electricity?

Yes Mayukha H+ and OH- ions are reported while writing the chemical reaction but they are are not free to move into the solution. They are so reactive that they again gets combined with each other to produce H2O molecule again, and hence do not conduct electricity.
