electricity can be produced by wind,water,sun and animal manure. but how by amimal manure?? what is biogas?

Biogas is the energy produced by decomposition of organic wastes like animal wastes, plant wastes, etc by microorganisms in absence of oxygen.

Animal manure can be decomposed to produce energy which can be used to generate electricity.
