on rainy days , fungi grow on moist places like leather shoes, bread etc but the reason fungi grow is to obtain nutrients and shoes does not contain any nutrients so then why does fungi grow on shoes??

Leather is an animal product and contains organic matter. Fungi dissolve the leather and extract the soluble part of leather as food and survive on it.
