Consider opening a perfume bottle inside a room. You can smell it in every corner of the room same happens with some. You leave something giving out smoke in one corner of the room and soon it spreads to all the corners of the room.
All this happens because of the pressure. The molecules of the perfume or the smoke are in constant random motion and they continuously collide with each other and exert force on each other. Thus, they exert pressure on each other and in every direction.
