• Saptarishi is a constellation of stars
• As the name suggests, it is a group of seven stars (Sapta means 7)
• This group forms a bigger constellation namely, the Ursa Major
• Pole star remains in a fixed position in the sky
• It always points the North direction
• The pole star can be easily located by drawing an imaginary line that joins the pointer stars
• This line if extended further points to the Pole star
