Let radius of sphere =r
Diameter of sphere = 2r

Given Dimeter of cylinder =Diameter of sphere =2r
So, radius of cylinder = r
Given Height of cylinder = Diameter of sphere =2r

Volume of cylinder =πr2h=πr2(2r)=2πr3...(1)Volume of sphere =43πr3=23(2πr3)=23(Volume of cylinder) (from (1))

So the given statement is TRUE.
