What are the difference between Plastids and Chloroplasts?

Plastid is a term used for a group of organelles (chromoplast, leucoplast, gerontoplast and chloroplast) that carry out important function of storage and may contain pigments that give colour and perform important processes like photosynthesis. Chloroplast is one of the type of plastid that give green colour and also perform photosynthesis.
