What is a balanced diet?
A diet which provides all the nutrientsthat our body needs,in right quantities,along with adequate amount of roughage and water is called a 'balanced diet'.
Balanced diet is a diet that includes adequate amount of all necessary nutrients (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals) and fibres required by the body. If a person does not consume balanced diet then he/she might suffer from malnutrition and various other deficiency diseases. Balanced diet is necessary for health growth and performing various activities.
