Ethyne is more acidic than ethene. why?

The acidic character depends upon the % of s-character of C-H bond. Higher will be the s-character more will be the acidic character. In Ethyne, the C-H bond has 50% s-character as compared to ethylene which has 33.33% s-character therefore Ethyne is more acidic than ethylene.
