The following are the conditions required for Tea cultivation:
Temperature- 10 -30 degrees Centigrade
Rainfall- average yearly rainfall of 2,000 mm
Altitude- ground level of between 600-2000 meters above sea level
Soil- soil with Ph 4.5 to 5 and less acid soil with excellent drainage
