Question

explain in detail charging by induction , conduction and friction with the help of diagram and if possible video?

Solution

Charging by Induction:-

The phenomenon according to which an equal and opposite charge is induced on an uncharged body when a charged body is held close to it is called charging by induction.

Charging by conduction:-

Conduction, unlike induction is a process in which the objects actually physically touch each. In this case, transfer of charges is possible from a body at higher potential to a body at lower potential.

Charging by friction:-

In this phenomena an object is charged by friction and both objects get equal and opposite charge.

Rubbing our hands is the charging by friction so both the hands get equal and opposite charge.
