A newton's disc is basically a disc which consist of section of the seven colors of the rainbow arranged sequentially and in a circular order. Each color occupies a small section or pie of the disc.
When the speed of rotation of the disc becomes high, we cannot distinguish between the individual colors and we see the combination of the colors. This combination of colors appears to us as white.
