Explain recoiling of gun with third law of motion?
In guns the gunpowder explosion create hot gases that expands and allow the gun to push forward on bullet.
according to Newton's third law of motion to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction so in the case when the gun push the bullet the bullet also pushes back the gun with an equal force but in opposite direction due to this force exerted by the bullet on the gun the gun move backwards which is called the recoil of the gun.
the force exerted by the gun on bullet is equal and opposite to the force exerted by the bullet on the gun.
the acceleration of the gun and the bullet will be different it will depend on the mass of bullet and gun
