Open in App
Solution

The five layers of the atmosphere are troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and ionosphere.

Troposphere is the lowest layer of the atmosphere. It is about 11 km thick and most clouds are formed in this layer.
Stratosphere is about 11-48 km above the Earth's surface. In this layer ozone is found.

Mesosphere is the layer above the stratosphere and atmosphere here is thin.
Next layer is thermosphere where temperature is quite high.
The layer above thermosphere is ionosphere where air is ionized.
