Solution

Courts play a pivotal role in the administration of justice. It acts as the highest authority to provide justice to the people. When a situation of dispute or quarrel arises between two parties and none is willing to resolve dispute amicably, then it is the duty of the court to settle such disputes in a fair and impartial manner.Incase of thefts, robberies and murders the police arrests the offenders but punishment will be awarded to them only by the court of law.Court can even nullify the laws passed by the parliament and state assemblies, if such laws encroach upon the fundamental rights of the citizens guaranteed to them by the constitution.
