Traits acquired during life time are acquired traits such as increase in body weight by taking good diet, increase in cholestrol level, learning languages, etc. In simple terms, acquired traits are skills, knowledge or memory that an individual develops during his/her lifetime. Acquired traits can also be mutation in DNA that occur in somatic cells and cannot be inherited
These are non-heritable traits as these involve changes only in the somatic cells (cell other than reproductive cells). So, these types of traits cannot be passed from parents to offsprings.
