For making bodies of aircraft an alloy Duralumin is used? Why not Titanium which is used in space projects used in making bodies of aircraft?

Titanium is used to make spacecrafts due to its ability to with stand very high temperatures generated when it enters or leaves earth's atmosphere.
In case of aircrafts the temperatures do not rise so high as it flies inside the atmosphere and hence duralumin is used. also it is cheaper than titanium.
