The motion of four persons K, L, M, N is as shown in figure by solid curved lines. They will be meeting at the centre O of the square KLMN. It means, that the person K will be covering a displacement KO befor meeting the other person.
Since each has same velocity, hence all will reach at point O at same time.
Since they are continuously moving towards each other and all of them are moving, the trajectory of their motion is a semi-circle with the end point being the centre of the square and diameter being half of the diagonal. Distance moved by each is same as a quarter of a circle i.e πr/2.where r = distance of each vertex of square to the centre(where diagonals meet)=d/2Time taken = πdv22
