Solution

If we make them both like fractions by LCM method,

i.e., LCM of 8 and 7 will be 56,
So P = $\frac{7 \times 7}{8 \times 7}$ = $\frac{49}{56}$

and Q = $\frac{8 \times 8}{7 \times 8}$ = $\frac{64}{56}$

we get $\frac{49}{56}$ and $\frac{64}{56}$ so, Q is greater.
