There are four kinds of animal tissue. Connective tissue is one of them. Connective tissue has three main basic components, ground substance, fibers and and cells. All these three components remain immersed in body fluid.
Various cell types that are found in connective tissue are fibroblasts, mast cells, macrophages, adipocytes and leukocytes, and plasma cells.
