Soda-acid fire extinguisher contains sulphuric acid and sodium hydrogen carbonate which react to form water and carbon dioxide which extinguish fire.The reaction is as follows:

H2SO4 + 2NaHCO3 → Na2SO4 + 2H2O + 2CO2
