International Institutions like IMF and World Bank have certain non democratic features :
a. In IMF, for instance member states do not have equal voting rights , it is relative to the amount of money contributed by member states.
b. Decisions of World Bank , IMF are controlled by big donor countries that is US, France , UK etc
c. Smaller countries have very little saying in its proceedings.
d. Even in World Bank, voting rights are based on the contribution by member states.
e. The President of the World Bank has invariably been a citizen of the US, nominated by the finance minister of the US.
f. IMF and World Bank headquarters are located in Washington, which certainly gives US, the largest donor country locational advantage to meddle with the decisions.
