Similarly, isobars have same mass no. (p+n)and different no. of protons i.e. no. of neutrons varies in the two. So, the isobar of ​ Ar is C2040a
Now, the isotones have same no, of neutrons and thus both the mass no. (p+n) and atomic no. varies but still the species have same no. of neutrons for ex : the isotones are:
C614 ,O816
Both the soecies have 8 neutrons.
