Give reasons excretory system plays an important role in maintaining homeostasis and acid-base balance

Homeostasis is a property of the body, to maintain the internal condition of the body stable and constant. Excretory system plays an important role in maintaining the homeostasis in various ways. Excretory system consist of the kidney, liver, lung and skin.
1.Kidney - It filter the blood, and remove the harmful substance and extra water through the urethra.
2.Liver - It metabolise harmful substances and remove the toxins from the body.
3.Lungs - They remove harmful gases from the body to maintain the homeostasis.
4.Skin - It is responsible for the thermoregulation of the body. When it is hot, it open the sweat gland and remove water through evaporation, which cause cooling.
