Question

Give reasons for why water in desert cooler cold?

Open in App
Solution

The water in a desert cooler evaporates when it comes in contact with dry and hot air. This leads to cooling due to evaporation due to heat absorption by water molecules that vaporise. This cools down the water as well as hot air that is drawn in by the desert cooler.
