Solution

1) Living things, non living things and dead things show different characters from each other. Living things grow, respire, move, reproduce and they have definite life span. On the other hand dead means when someone does not show signs of life and non living things never show any sign of life. So a living thing can die but a non living thing remain same.

2) Living things have definite life span because they age with time and when body gets older the body does not work as efficiently like in young age because the metabolism gets slower and body gets weaker. So by the passage of time a living being dies.

3) Living being shows growth as their body is made up of cells and they divide to grow the size of a living being. Growth is a part of development of an organism or a living being.

4) Living beings have capability to reproduce as they have mechanism to reproduce. Non living things or dead cannot reproduce as they don't have that capability.
