Copper (II) Hydroxide [Cu(OH)₂] and Calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)₂] are bases which are insoluble in water.
Bases like sodium hydroxide (NaOH), potassium hydroxide (KOH), barium hydroxide [Ba(OH)₂] are soluble in water. Hence, these are known as alkalis.
