GUARD CELL ARE BEAN SHAPED AND RED BLOOD CELLS ARE DISC SHAPE. EXPLAIN BREIFLY?
Guard cells are bean shaped and cover the stomata opening. Transpiration depends upon these guard cells as they totally regulate the opening and closing of stomata.
The disc shape of red blood cells provides more surface area for rapid exchange of gases. More over due to this shape they can remain stacked one above another when they flow through capillaries and narrow vessels or else they may squeeze.
