how a child gets food inside mother body?

When mother eats food, it reaches stomach where digestion of food takes place. After digestion essential nutrients enter into the blood of the mother. This blood then travels to the placenta and get filttered by it . At last filttered blood enters into the child through umblical cord.
In short, food in the form of glucose, proteins, vitamins etc reach the child through blood via placenta and umblical cord.
