Spagnum(moss) have a very low rate of decay so it can be use to package or preserve plants and even human bodies for a long period of time. It can be used to package human hairs and clothing also. They are extremely acidic so they can inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi thus can be used for packing food items. It can also be used for carrying seeds and live plants.
