Boyles law and Charles law combined into a single relationship is known as the ideal gas law. The state of an amount of ideal gas is determined by its pressure, volume and temperature. The mathematical form of ideal gas equation is,

PV =nRT, where, P is the pressure, V is the volume, n is the amount of substance, R is the universal gas constant and T is the temperature.
