2. Grasslands: Grasslands are the land area having tall grasses nearly 1 to 2 m tall. They grow in the region of moderate rain. Grasslands are further classified as;

3. Shrubs: Shrubs are small plants reaching up to a height of 2 to 3 feet. Thorny shrubs and scrubs are the shrubs that grow in dry region. The vegetation cover is scarce because of scanty rain and scorching heat. Thorny bushes are classified as shrubs.
