Solution

Snake venom (poison) spreads through blood circulation. So, a person bitten by snake should be kept calm to decrease blood flow. He/she should lie down with position of injured site below the level of heart to minimise blood returning to heart and circulation to other organs of the body. The person should not eat or drink things like alcohol, coffee etc. which speed up the absorption and circulation of venom.
