How can we prove that density is inversely proportional to volume when mass is constant?

Open in App
Solution

As we know that density is given by,

Density = Mass/Volume .....(i)

When mass of a body is constant then density increases with increase in the mass of the body. Therefore, density is directly proportional to the mass when volume of the body is constant.

Similarly, you can prove for second part.
