How did Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangazeb die?
Babur was poisoned by Dilawar Begum( Ibrahim Lodi's mother) · He died a natural death · He gave away his life to save his son Humyaun's life. Babur died in 1530 in Agra and Humayun succeeded him. Babur was first buried in Agra but, as per his wishes, his remains were moved to Kabul and reburied.
Humayun was fatally injured by falling down the staircase of his library. His tomb in Delhi, built several years after his death, is the first of the great Mughal architectural masterpieces
Emperor Akbar died at Agra of dysentery or acute diarrhea, after a long reign of forty-nine years. In September, 1605, the Emperor fell ill and the chief physician Hakim Ali was summoned to the court. After considering the symptoms, he did not give any medicine, under the hope that the King's vigor of constitution would overcome the disease. But his illness gradually increased and on the ninth day the physician began to treat him. In fact, his illness had increased to this extent due to agitation produced by a quarrel between the servants of Salim and Khusrau (son of Salim) at an elephant fight:akbar has chosen his grandson khusaro as his successor.
Jahangir died while traveling. He was on his way to the city of Lahore, where he was later buried. It appears he was rather heavily addicted to opium and alcohol, but was also under great stress from rivals within the empire at the time of his death.
Shah Jahan recovered from his illness, but Emperor Aurangzeb put his father under house arrest in Agra Fort from July 1658 until his death in January 1666. He was laid to rest next to his wife in the Taj Mahal.
Aurangzeb was 88 years old when he died in central India on March 3, 1707. He died of natural causes, those being terminal illnesses that had gotten to him.
