How did the growth of industrilisation change social and political situation of Europe. Explain 5 points
1) The first impact of industrialization was felt in the cotton and metals. Since labour was in abundance, labour intensive methods were used.
2) Most of the jobs were in main cities (e.g. London) and labour had to wait in the cold to get hired.
3) The labour had to move from one place to another and this increased mobility of the population.
4) This labour was becoming increasingly hostile to technological changes as it would increase unemployment. It was this labour which would lead to rise of Socialism and communism and Marxist thought.
