Question

How do humans regenerate brain cells?

Open in App
Solution

Earlier it was thought that brain cells does not regenerate but researchers in recent times have come to the conclusion that if brain cells are damaged then these cells not only regenerate but can adapt their function to perform critical roles once performed by damaged tissue. A damaged brain can manufacture a number of complex chemicals that actually fastens the growth and repair of damaged neurons.
